This year’s reception of the economy in Altenkirchen was dominated by industry 4.0 and the growing challenges posed by increasing digitalization, which is making its way into more and more different branches of industry.
In order to provide a suitable setting, the Industriepark in Etzbach was chosen as the venue. Due to the excellent location and the excellent infrastructure at the location, more and more companies have already settled here in recent years. Some of the resident companies were also represented with their own small stand at the event and were thus able to provide an insight into the wide range of products and services on offer.
An extremely exciting experience was offered in particular by the possibility to independently run through a digitally supported production in the “Mobile Factory” of the Mittelstand-4.0-Kompetenzzentrum Siegen/Hannover.
The main item on this evening’s programme was a very interesting lecture on the subject of “Digitisation today” by Markus Bläser, Managing Director of MB Software und Systeme.
The content included a short presentation of the historical development, the presentation of some examples of the most important winners and losers in the course of digitization, as well as the discussion of the opportunities and risks associated with digitization, to which many companies nowadays feel compelled. In addition, there were numerous critical testimonials from customer meetings, because these often lack an understanding of the changes in the market with regard to the planning of technological developments. Finally, the audience was confronted with three questions – “Wait and see? Take part? Or go ahead? – which they will have to answer for themselves and their companies in the future.
At movX we clearly try to take a pioneering role with the digitalization of movements in order to help people in different areas of everyday life to better understand their own movements, to motivate them to move more and above all to move healthier in the long run.
But not only the program of the event itself provided good entertainment, but also the opportunities for networking with numerous representatives from politics and business.
The visit was definitely worth it! 🙂
Further information about the event can be found in the official press-article of the AK-Kurier.
